The date of manufacture on your seat's label plus that figure is the expiration date.
Britax publishes no single brand-wide number. Its own expiration FAQ scopes it as a range: "The expiration date for your Britax car seat is generally 6 to 10 years from the Date of Manufacture, depending on the model." The firm per-category figures above are read from Britax's Knowledge Center expiration guide, which lists currently-sold models only — Willow and Cypress, the Aspen and Alpine bases, Poplar, One4Life, Grow With You, Highpoint and Skyline. Marathon, Advocate/Boulevard and B-Safe are retired lines that appear nowhere on that guide, so their figures here come from each seat's own Britax user guide (Tier 2), not from the support page — and the guide's ClickTight-convertible row does not carry over to them, because that row names only Poplar and Poplar S. The manuals checked are the current revisions (Marathon and Advocate/Boulevard rev. 05.22, B-Safe Gen2 rev. 01.21); pre-ClickTight revisions such as a Marathon 70 or Boulevard 70 are not published on Britax's user-guides page and were not verified, so on one of those the stamp on the seat is the only figure to go by. Category matters more than construction here: Britax infant seats are 6 years while its convertibles, all-in-ones and boosters are 9 or 10, so a household with both cannot use one number. Britax points owners at the seat itself: "Look for the sentence that says, 'discontinue use of this child restraint if it is older than...'" Note too that only seats made after roughly 2018 print an expiration date on the label; on an older seat the label shows a date of manufacture only, and the years figure has to be added to it.

Where the date is on a Britax seat
Britax calls it the serial label — in the manuals, the "Serial Number & Manufactured Date Label" — and its position differs by product category. On the ClickTight infant seats it sits on the underside of the seat next to the harness adjustment slots; on the Aspen and Alpine bases, inside the lower connector storage compartment; on a Poplar, on the back of the seat under the tether hook; on a One4Life, on the top side of the ClickTight compartment under the car seat cover; on a Grow With You, on the outside of the headrest; on a Highpoint or Skyline, on the top of the front corner of the seating area under the car seat cover. On the retired Marathon, Advocate/Boulevard and B-Safe seats the manual's parts diagram places it under the seat cover, and on a B-Safe base on the underside of the base. Each model page below carries Britax's own wording for that seat.
Britax expiration dates are based on the seat’s date of manufacture (DOM), which can be found on the product’s serial label.
